Dan grew up in the city of Datong in Chinese Mongolia, where he attended the prestigious Datong No.1 high school excelling in math. His superior marks at Datong No. 1 High School gained him admission to Beijing Forestry University where he followed his original interest in preserving China's natural resources. This knowledge of China's natural resources and national laws and customs regulating these resources has given him special insights into this part of China's economy. In addition to his university training, Danny interned with the Chinese Ministry of Forestry of on the NEW VARIETY PROTECTION OF THE PLANTS.

He participated in the courses on the Madrid System of International Registration of Marks (WIPO) and in the WIPO Asian Regional Workshop on Intellectual Property (IP) for Managers and Staff of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and SME Support Institutions.

Currently, Danny is taking up intellectual property registration and enforcement work as well as working in the trademark area.
